Daniel's Dose: Adventure 22- The enemy will try to bring you down...

Topic: Daniel’s Dose: Adventure 22- The enemy will try to bring you down!

Bible Reading: Daniel 6

Memory Verse: Daniel 6: 4 (NKJV)

So the governors and satraps sought to find some charge against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find no charge or fault, because he was faithful; nor was there any error or fault found in him.

Today, we continue our adventure through Daniel’s Dose. We would be looking at a very important topic. Many Christians always want to read or listen to the nice, friendly topics. Topics such as these are very important. This is because every Christian goes through them. We are in constant battle with the enemy because we are God’s children. The enemy will try everything in his power to make sure that you turn away from God. He came to steal, kill and destroy; don’t give him the chance to do so.

Before getting into today’s message, I would like to let everyone know that the registration portal for Sammie’s Daily Dose’s second event, Time At His Feet 2.0, is officially open. As a child of God, you may wonder why you go through certain trials and temptations. Well, the enemy sees how bright you are and the great future you have as a child of God. He does not want to see you prosper. He puts blockades and hindrances in your path, to deter you from blossoming in God’s presence.

Though we know that we are always being watched by the enemy, we, Christians, must not be scared. We must continue to pursue God’s agenda. Challenge the enemy! Why? Well, God has given us, all we need to conquer the enemy. As we know that the enemy has a targeted radar on our lives, what do we do? Well, we must always be prepared for attack. We must continue serving God.

From Daniel 6, the Bible tells us that the satraps and governors tried to charge Daniel with something, however, they did not find anything to charge him with. That is how the enemy operates. When he sees that you are growing and receiving the right attention; he wants to either steal it from you, kill you for it or destroy it for you!

The most important question is “Are you faithful to God?” Many Christians, when they are filled by the Holy Spirit and become successful; pride begins to set in. They begin to think that all they have is by their might and power. They begin to act in their own wisdom and understanding. Most of the time, this causes many Christians to falter. If the answer to your question is “no”! I will like to urge you to check your lifestyle and make the decision to turn back to God.

It is very important to be faithful to God! Why? Well, like Daniel, if you are faithful to God, the enemy will not find any fault or charge against you! However, if you are not faithful to God, there is a high chance that the enemy would have a lot of ground to accuse you of many things. This is because when we follow our flesh, it causes us to go astray from God. Why? Well, the flesh is sin-full.

Today, the Holy Spirit is drawing your attention to your personal allegiances! Are you full of Christ or full of yourself? Reflect on your actions and come back to Christ, if you need to! This will enable you to be free of the wrath of the enemy. Hallelujah! The enemy will try to bring you down! However, what will your story be! Are you fully equipped and ready for battle? Or does the enemy have leverage over you?

Prayer Points:

  1. Ask God to reveal Himself to you.

  2. Ask God to fill your heart and mind.

  3. Ask for healing in your heart and your mind.

  4. Ask that God transforms your heart and your mind, through His Word.

  5. Ask for the infilling of the Holy Spirit.

  6. Ask for strength to continue to focus on God.

  7. Ask for the desire to learn more about God.

End with a time of praise and worship!

Today’s prayer:

Dear Lord,

I thank you for my life. I thank you for giving me another beautiful day. I ask that you guide me and protect me. I pray that I will choose you in every situation that I face. And that my life will be a testimony and an example to many that I have Christ living in me. Thank you, Lord, for sending your son to die on the cross and wipe my sins away. I lift your name high for you are Alpha and Omega. Amen!

Today, I pray that God strengthens you to face any hurdles the enemy brings your way! I pray that the magnitude of these hurdles will not let you lose faith! Always remember, God’s got you! If you are faithfully and diligently seeking Him; the enemy has no hold over you! It may seem so; it is not the truth! You are greater and more powerful than he is! You have an excellent spirit living in you!

IMPORTANT NOTE!!!

The prayer below is for anyone who does not know God or maybe has been apart from God for a while. God is here to pour His favor over your life. All you have to do is call out to Him. Make that decision today!

Dear Lord,

I come to you today as a sinner. I admit that I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus is your Son and He came on to this earth to die for my sins. Dear Lord, let your Son come and fill me. Lord, I ask that He cleanses me off my sins. I am ready to stand for you and profess your Name. Thank you, Lord. Amen.

If you repeated this prayer with all the sincerity of your heart, congratulations!! You are now a part of God’s family.  Welcome to the greatest family ever. Heaven is jubilating on your arrival. Your fellow brothers and sisters are also excited to have you on board.

Being a child of God is a wonderful thing. The road might not always be easy, but God is with you each and every step of the way. Guiding you, helping you and encouraging up. You will never regret this decision; I can assure you of that. Two things I would recommend for you to do are;

  1. Get yourself a Bible (in a version you understand) and meditate on it day and night. In Joshua 1:8, we are told that when you meditate on the Word day and night, you will be prosperous and successful.

  2. Find a Bible- believing church to attend and fellowship with other Christians. This would help you grow spiritually.

I am excited that you made this decision. Welcome! If you would like some help or more understanding into anything, you can leave a message (adding your email address) and I would be willing and happy to help you out!
