But God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done…

Good morning ladies and gentlemen! How are you doing? How was your weekend? Last Friday, we challenged you to make a difference! Were you able to? We would love to hear some of them! Reach out to us to share some of your experiences; we are excited to engage with you all!

This week is going to be the final week, looking at the Genesis Story! Finally, this series is over, after about two years. What is your favorite Genesis Story message? Which message has spoken directly to you? Kindly share your thoughts (on), comments (of) and experiences (with) The Genesis Story. We would love to hear from you!

In today’s message, we will be exploring the theme, “God intended it for good!” I pray that you will be blessed by this message; no matter where you are in this world! God’s got us! He’s got the whole world in His hands. This message is similar to another message, which was posted about two weeks ago! The Holy Spirit wants to continue to spread hope all around the world (with this message).

Let us get right into the message!

There are many people who question God, when they go through a difficult period! Many people (both Christians and non- Christians), doubt God’s existence when difficult or unpleasant times occur. Many people experience a lot of fear and panic. They do not know what to do! During this COVID-19 period, similar things have been happening! There are many people who are still full of fear and panic; maybe, even anger!

Today, the Holy Spirit wants to remind you that, “God intended it for good!” Yes! It may sound very shocking or even crazy! Why would God let something horrible (like the COVID pandemic) happen and say it is for our God? Well, as Christians, we know that we are protected and shielded by Christ. So, no matter what may come our way, we know that God is with us! Thus, nothing shall by any means harm us (Luke 10:19). We are assured of His mercies and grace over our lives!

Also, we know that God’s word is ye and amen. It is final. His words have never failed and will never fail. So we have faith that when God tells us that, “in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28); it is so!

We may not know the reason God has for allowing this pandemic to happen. However, we know, and we can trust that God has a great plan; it is for our good! During this period, do not focus on the negative aspects of the pandemic. Try to identify the positives! For example; spending quality time with family, enjoying some rest and many others. Spend time at God’s feet and let your heart and mind be renewed! You will realise that after this pandemic passes, there are many things that God would have achieved or changed in your life! That’s the aim!

Take a look at Joseph, despite all he had been through, despite his suffering and the difficult times, he continued to trust God and have faith in Him! God allowed Joseph to go through it all for the good of his people. That is the aim! God wants to teach his people, reassure his people and deliver his people! Continue to focus on God during this period! It is not a time to play the blame game! Spend time under God’s feet! He is working everything for your good! Don’t worry!

Be filled with hope and joy today, because God intended all this for your good and the good of his people. You are victorious! Hallelujah! Watch out for what God is about to do you and for your household. Be encouraged today! I pray that God heals your heart (especially those going through some pain during this period). God will make you full again! God bless!

Always remember to be safe! Please continue to follow the various health guidelines provided by the respective health agencies. God bless you!

IMPORTANT NOTE!!!

The prayer below is for anyone who does not know God or maybe has been apart from God for a while. God is here to pour His favor over your life. All you have to do is call out to Him. Make that decision today!

Dear Lord,

I come to you today as a sinner. I admit that I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus is your Son and He came on to this earth to die for my sins. Dear Lord, let your Son come and fill me. Lord, I ask that He cleanses me off my sins. I am ready to stand for you and profess your Name. Thank you, Lord. Amen.

If you repeated this prayer with all the sincerity of your heart, congratulations!! You are now a part of God’s family. Welcome to the greatest family ever. Heaven is jubilating on your arrival. Your fellow brothers and sisters are also excited to have you on board.

Being a child of God is a wonderful thing. The road might not always be easy, but God is with you each and every step of the way. Guiding you, helping you and encouraging up. You will never regret this decision; I can assure you of that. Two things I would recommend for you to do are;

  1. Get yourself a Bible (in a version you understand) and meditate on it day and night. In Joshua 1:8, we are told that when you meditate on the Word day and night, you will be prosperous and successful.

  2. Find a Bible- believing church to attend and fellowship with other Christians. This would help you grow spiritually.

I am excited that you made this decision. Welcome! If you would like some help or more understanding into anything, you can leave a message (adding your email address) and I would be willing and happy to help you out!
